Maggie and Nathan Mick Wedding
What a glorious day – the wedding of Maggie and Nathan Mick. Mick, former Centre college grad and current Director of Garrard County’s Economic Development Partnership is deeply rooted in Politics. Nathan Mick was with U. S. Sentator Chuck Hagel, as his Deputy Chief of Staff in Washington, DC.
After working for Senator Hagel, Nathan returned to where his political roots were planted. Nathan worked at the Kentucky Capitol for Representative Lonnie Napier after graduating from Centre. It’s where he got his start! State Representative Lonnie Napier actually told Nathan about the position in Garrard County to which he then applied… where he is doing a spectacular job building business in the area. Then moved his future wife down from Washington, DC.

The wedding was held on the front lawn of the Ashley Inn. What a fabulous venue.
Both Maggie and Nathan love BBQ, so of course, they chose the best BBQ around – Lucky Dog BBQ. :-)

BBQ Competition in Springfield, KY
come see us October - 40 teams from all over the US. This is a State Championship Competition.
Friday evening will be Blues Bands (to the public) and BBQ for close friends at our tent (food not open to the public as planned – expecting too many people 10k give or take).
Saturday 12n turn in for our Q, then awards at 4pm.
Hunter, Bob and Brad will be pulling all nighters this weekend, so right after that, Big Braddy-Daddy and his Merry Posse will be packing up and heading to The Hill to crash (up a couple nights cooking).
So if you want some Blues music and BBQ – get yo butt down to Springfield and join us. I guarantee a good time.
